Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Labor & Delivery RN for a night shift position requiring an active IL license and prior L&D experience.

Details

Work in a busy Birthing Center averaging 200 births per month
Care for women during labor, childbirth, and postpartum recovery
12-hour night shifts with a 24-hour guaranteed weekly work (GWW) schedule totaling 36 hours

Requirements

Active IL RN license required at time of consideration
1 year of recent L&D experience required
Current BLS, NRP, and ACLS certifications required

Additional Information

Monitor both mother and baby throughout the labor and delivery process
Coach and support mothers through the stages of childbirth
Assist physicians during delivery procedures
Prepare patients and families for childbirth and provide breastfeeding support after delivery
Travel experience preferred but not required
No more than 5 days of RTO can be requested during the assignment
