Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an IMCU position requiring 2+ years of IMCU experience and telemetry/cardiac drip expertise.

Details

• Hospital inpatient setting within the Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU)
• Patient ratio of 1:4
• Night shift schedule from 7pm-7am
• Weekend shifts required
• On-call responsibilities required
• Navy scrubs required

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of IMCU experience required
• Telemetry experience required
• Cardiac drip experience required
• Two professional references required
• Flu vaccination required with no exemptions granted

Additional Information

• Coordinate patient care delivery using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care
• Monitor cardiac telemetry and manage cardiac drips for IMCU patients
• Collaborate with the healthcare team and delegate tasks appropriately based on patient condition and staff competencies
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility as local candidates are not accepted
