Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring TX or compact RN licensure and at least 1 year of ED experience.

Details

• Hospital Emergency Department setting located in Buda, TX, near Austin
• Patient ratio of 1 nurse to 3 patients
• NOC shift with variable days from 1845-0645, 36 hours weekly
• Weekend shifts required
• 13-week travel assignment

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, ENPC, and TNCC
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required
• Triage experience highly preferred
• Mandatory flu shot required with no exemptions granted
• Two professional references required

Additional Information

• Coordinate patient care delivery using the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while supporting safe transitions through the healthcare encounter
• Collaborate with the healthcare team and delegate tasks appropriately based on scope of practice and patient needs
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for this travel position
