Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cath Lab position requiring 1 year of experience and BLS/ACLS certifications in hand.
Details
- Work in the Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab setting
- Day shift schedule of 4x10 hour shifts from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM
- 13-week assignment length
- Floating to like units within scope required as needed based on facility needs, with brief orientation provided
Requirements
- Active KS or Compact RN license required at time of submission
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required in hand
- Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab experience required
- Epic charting experience preferred
- Skilled in circulating procedures, dysrhythmia interpretation/management, and procedural sedation monitoring
- Experience with diagnostic catheterizations, left and right heart catheterization, and pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz monitoring
- Experience administering and monitoring procedural sedation medications
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted
- Former permanent staff must have separated from employment for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
- No more than 3 days of RTO will be auto-approved, and no RTO is permitted during the first week of orientation
- Travel pairs or groups are not accepted for this position
