Description

American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift RN for an ICU position requiring a minimum of 2 years recent ICU experience and critical care skills including ventilator and hemodynamic monitoring management.

Details

• ight 13-week assignment in a hospital ICU setting
• Night shift schedule, 4x12 hours from 19:00 to 7:00
• Every other weekend (EOW) rotation required
• Possible float to IMCU or CPU as needed
• Uses Cerner/Soarian EMR system
• Holiday coverage required

Requirements

• Active GA or Compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience required
• Experience with ventilator management and care of ventilated patients
• Experience with ICP monitoring
• Experience with cardiac/telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation and management
• Experience with Pulmonary Artery Line/Swan-Ganz monitoring
• Experience with balloon pump management
• IV start proficiency required
• Royal blue scrubs required (not provided)
• Copy of driver's license and updated NURSYS required to verify residence for rate determination

Additional Information

• Provide direct critical care nursing to ICU patients, including ventilator and hemodynamic monitoring management
• Minimal to no RTO accepted, especially around holidays
• Candidates residing less than 30 miles from the facility will not be considered
• Candidates residing 31-50 miles from the facility will be accepted at a reduced local rate
• Travel pairs are not accepted for this position
• Previous travel experience preferred but not required
