Description

American Traveler is hiring a Seasonal Travel RN - OR for a 13-week evening shift assignment requiring at least 1 year of recent acute care OR experience.

Details

• Work in a 28-bed OR Surgery unit
• 1:1 patient ratios
• Procedures include Orthopedics, GYN, General, Urology, Cardiothoracic, Vascular, Plastics, Dental, Eyes, Pediatrics, Spine, Neuro, Trauma, TAVR, MAKO, and DaVinci robotics
• Uses DaVinci Robotics (SI, XI) and Mako equipment
• Meditech / CPN EMR system
• Shift runs 2:30 PM to 1:00 AM
• On-call requirements include one late night per week, one 8-hour Saturday shift every 4th week, and one 8-hour call shift per month on Saturday or Sunday
• 30-minute response time required for on-call

Requirements

• Active KS or compact RN license
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of current acute care OR RN hospital experience required
• Experience with DaVinci Robotics preferred
• Ortho, neurology, and vascular experience highly preferred
• Prior Meditech experience preferred
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
• No gaps in work history exceeding 90 days within the past 12 months

• Provide direct surgical care across a wide range of specialties in a high-volume OR
• Strong emphasis on patient care experience and communication with staff and providers
• Facility maintains a 50-mile radius requirement for candidates; local candidates not accepted
• One professional reference required (two required for Florida and Missouri candidates)
