Description

American Traveler is hiring a seasonal travel RN for an Operating Room position requiring at least 1 year of recent acute care OR experience and BLS/ACLS certification.

Details

• Work in the OR Surgery department of a 28-bed unit within a hospital setting
• 1:1 patient ratios
• Utilizes DaVinci Robotics equipment (SI, XI, and Mako)
• EMR system used is Meditech / CPN
• Procedures performed include Orthopedics, GYN, General, Urology, Cardiothoracic, Vascular, Plastics, Dental, Eyes, Pediatrics, Spine, Neuro, Trauma, TAVR, MAKO, and DaVinci
• 13-week assignment with a 7A-7P shift schedule
• Schedule flexibility between 4x10s or 3x12s
• Requires one late night per week
• Requires one 8-hour Saturday shift every 4th week
• On-call requirement of 1 8-hour call shift per month on Saturday or Sunday with a 30-minute response time

Requirements

• Active KS or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of current acute care OR RN hospital experience required
• Experience working with DaVinci Robotics preferred
• Ortho, neurology, and vascular experience highly preferred
• Prior Meditech experience preferred
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
• One professional reference required (two required for Florida and Missouri candidates)
• No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more in the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity surgical environment supporting a wide range of specialties
• Strong emphasis on patient care experience and effective communication with staff and providers
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered for this position
• No local candidates will be considered for this role
