Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a STICU Days position at a Level II Trauma Center, requiring TNCC certification and prior trauma ICU experience.

Details

• Level II Adult and Pediatric Trauma Center
• Critical Care-Trauma ICU unit focused on the Adult Trauma Population
• Post-surgical management for General Surgery, Vascular Surgery (including Carotid), and Neuro Surgery patients
• Patient ratio of 1:1-3 across an 8-bed unit
• Day shift schedule from 06:45 to 19:15
• 13-week assignment length

Requirements

• Active RN license (IN or Compact) currently in hand
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience required
• Current certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), TNCC, and NIH Stroke Scale
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Trauma ICU experience required

Additional Information

• Provide critical care nursing support to adult trauma, post-surgical, and neuro surgery patients
• Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
• Radius rule applies which may affect local candidate pay rate
