Description
American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Emergency Department Boarder position requiring an active MA RN license and offering flexible 3x12 D/N rotation or straight night shifts.
Details
- Work in the Emergency Department assisting with ongoing ED boarding needs throughout the unit
- 13-week contract assignment
- Schedule options include 3x12 D/N rotation (4 weeks of each shift) or straight nights
- Every other holiday (EOH) and every other weekend (EOW) coverage required
- Uses Epic for charting
- Uses UKG/Kronos for timekeeping
Requirements
- Active MA RN license required (no conditional or pending licenses accepted)
- Both NURSYS and Board of Nursing verification required for licensure
- AHA-issued certifications only
- Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
- Primary source verification of license/certifications required within 30 days of start date
Additional Information
- Support ED boarding operations by providing med/surg level nursing care to patients throughout the Emergency Department
- Local candidates must reside within 60 miles of the facility in Boston and will receive a rate 5% less than the standard travel rate
- Parking is not validated at Boston locations; public transportation or paid public parking (approximately $17-$22 daily) is required
- RTO must be disclosed at the time of consideration
- First-time travelers may be considered for this position
