Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a TX or compact RN license and at least 2 years of ED experience.
Details
- Work in a hospital Emergency Department setting
- Night shift schedule from 7p-7a
- 13-week travel assignment
- Patient ratio of 4 to 1
- Weekend coverage rotates among staff
- On-call is optional
Requirements
- Active TX or compact RN license currently in hand
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC
- Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience required
- Flu shot required with no exemptions granted
- Two professional references required for consideration
Additional Information
- Coordinate patient care delivery using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to promote safe, efficient patient transitions and prevent complications
- Delegate interventions to healthcare personnel based on scope of practice and patient needs
- Black scrubs required
- Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for the travel position
- Local candidates within the radius are not accepted
