Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Medical/Surgical Cardiovascular Stepdown unit position requiring a KS or compact RN license and night shift availability.
Details
- Stepdown Intermediate Care unit within a Medical/Surgical Cardiovascular Unit, 38 beds
- Night shift schedule from 19:00-07:30
- 13-week assignment
- Telemetry with remote monitoring
- RNs start IVs with IV team available for additional support
- Lab collects blood specimens
- No drip titrations, EKGs, or sheath discontinuation performed
- Uses Cerner OneChart EMR
Requirements
- Active KS or compact RN license required
- Current AHA BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
- Current license and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start
Additional Information
- Provide medical/surgical and cardiovascular nursing care on a stepdown intermediate care unit
- Ceil Blue scrubs required
- Radius rule applies which may affect pay rate eligibility for local candidates
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
