Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist with 2+ years of experience and a CT state license for a hospital position covering multiple units.

Details

• Hospital-based respiratory therapy role covering Acute Care, ED, ICU, and Med Surg units
• Shift hours are 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
• Schedule includes every other Sunday
• Requires ability to work independently

Requirements

• NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
• CT State License required (license required if applicable)
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• BLS certification required
• NRP certification required
• ACLS certification preferred
• PALS certification preferred
• AHA-issued certifications required for BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP
• Two standard or above-average professional references from a manager or above within the prior year required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide respiratory therapy coverage across multiple hospital units including Acute Care, ED, ICU, and Med Surg
• Work independently across varied clinical settings
• Uses Kronos for timekeeping
• Local candidates within 60 miles are accepted at a reduced rate
• Candidates with prior work history at this health system may undergo an extended eligibility review process
