Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a PACU position requiring a Montana or compact RN license and at least 1 year of PACU experience.

Details

• Work in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) of a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule with 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week
• 40 hours per week
• Uses Epic EMR
• May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications based on business need
• May be required to be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift

Requirements

• Active RN license in Montana or compact license required
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required
• ACLS, NRP, and/or PALS certification required as appropriate for the unit
• Certifications must not expire prior to the start date
• ASN required, BSN preferred
• Minimum of 1 year of PACU experience required
• Epic charting experience required
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with accepted practice standards
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for PACU patients
• Perform health teaching, health counseling, and patient referrals as needed
• Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Provide therapy and treatment directly to patients or indirectly through consultation, delegation, supervision, or teaching of others
• Former permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for this travel assignment
