Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position on night shift, requiring a TN or compact RN license and prior MS/Tele experience.

Details

• Level III Trauma Center
• , from 19:00 to :30
• Every other weekendend required
• As needed call requirements
• As needed floating with possibility to float to similar Med/Surg units
• Serves patients of all ages
• Uses Omnicell for medication dispensing
• Documents in Meditech EHR

Requirements

• Active RN license (TN state or compact) required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• MS/Tele experience required
• IV insertion skills required
• Must pass Tennessee Abuse Registry background check prior to start

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care across a combined Medical Surgical unit population
• Professional demeanor expected on the unit
• Scrubs of any color accepted; casual wear not permitted
• Weekly orientation held on Mondays
• Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for travel assignment
• Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full time while on assignment
