Description

American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT/CRT) for a 13-week night shift assignment requiring 1+ years of experience and current ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications.

Details

• Work in the Cardiopulmonary/Respiratory Therapy department of a 125-bed acute care hospital
• Treat patients of all ages with a variety of respiratory issues
• Use ventilators, BiPAPs, and ABG equipment
• McKesson EHR system used
• Night shift, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Weekend rotation of every other weekend, 12 hours
• Floating as needed
• No call requirements

Requirements

• RRT or CRT certification required
• License required if applicable
• Minimum 1+ years of respiratory therapy experience
• Current ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications required
• Ability to work with all age groups
• Ability to work independently if needed
• Professional demeanor required

Additional Information

• Provide respiratory therapy care across a wide range of ages and diagnoses
• Work independently or as part of the cardiopulmonary services team when needed
• Weekly orientation held on Mondays
• Scrubs of any color are acceptable, provided attire remains professional for a clinical setting
• Candidates must live 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for travel rate
• Local candidates within 60 miles may be considered at the local rate
• Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the past 12 months
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full time during the assignment
