Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an Acute Care Hospital setting requiring a minimum of 1 year of acute care experience and Epic charting proficiency.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting
• Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Works Tuesday through Saturday
• Candidates may be required to float within scope as needed
• Uses Epic for charting

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of acute care physical therapy experience required
• Active PT license in Virginia or a compact state required in hand at time of consideration
• License required if applicable
• Epic charting experience required
• BSN preferred
• 2 professional references required
• Must submit SSN and DOB for consideration

Additional Information

• Local candidates accepted at the same base rate with no radius restrictions
• Facility has a natural nail policy
• Facility conducts background checks on all candidates
• Both travelers and permanent staff must be separated from the facility for one year before being eligible to return as a traveler
• RTO requests must be submitted at time of consideration and are subject to manager approval; no time off granted during the first week of assignment
• New hires complete required orientation modules through the facility's Learning Exchange, which vary by specialty and must be completed by the end of orientation week
