Description
American Traveler is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of experience for a 13-week assignment using Epic.
Details
- Outpatient rehabilitation clinic setting
- Schedule includes Mon/Wed 10:30a-7p and Tues/Thurs/Fri 7a-4p
- Weekend requirement on Fridays only
- No call requirements
- May be required to float to a downtown rehab location to cover FMLA-related shifts
- Uses Epic for documentation
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience required
- Current BLS certification required
- NH state PT license required, if applicable
- Only AHA and Red Cross certifications accepted
- References required, may be able to start with second pending
- Background or license hits must be approved by facility prior to offer
- Drug screen must be completed within 14 days of start
Additional Information
- Primary responsibilities include patient assessment, treatment planning, and documentation across the plan of care
- Treats orthopedic, neurologic, cardiopulmonary, and geriatric patient populations
- Utilizes modalities such as cervical/lumbar traction, cryotherapy, e-stim, and TENS
- Provides patient and family education on home exercise programs and safety
- Open to first-time travelers
- Local candidates within 50 miles accepted at a local rate
- Former employees of any facility associated with the health system are not eligible for consideration regardless of separation length
