Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg night shift position requiring an active NM or compact RN license and 2 years of experience.

Details

• Work in the Medical Surgical Combination unit of a hospital setting
• 199-bed facility offering diagnostic, therapeutic, and rehabilitative services
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 12-week assignment length

Requirements

• Active RN license (New Mexico or Compact) currently in hand
• AHA certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience required
• Must complete fingerprinting prior to hire per New Mexico state requirement, with documentation showing the background check is in process
• May start on a 14-day waiver while awaiting fingerprint results, provided supervision is in place
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Facility is Joint Commission Accredited, a Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI, and a Certified Primary Stroke Center
• Located in the Mesilla Valley of southern New Mexico with year-round sunshine and access to outdoor recreation including hiking, biking, and ATV trails
• Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for the travel rate
• Traveler cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full time
• Weekly orientation held on Mondays
