Description
American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist with 2+ years of Level 1 trauma center experience and Philips MR expertise for a day shift travel assignment.
Details
- Radiology MRI department at a Level 1 trauma center with 650+ beds
- Serves inpatient and outpatient adult, anesthesia, and ICU patient populations
- 1:1 patient ratio
- Performs Neuro (spine, brain, brain perfusion), Body (abdomen, MRCP, kidney, pelvis), and MSK imaging - no breast, cardiac, or prostate imaging required
- Uses Philips MR 1.5T and 3T (Ingenia and Ambition models)
- Epic EMR
- Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
- Weekend and weekend overnight shifts included, rotating between Tuesday/Wednesday/Saturday or Thursday/Friday/Saturday
- Weeknight and weekend call included
- 26-week contract length
- May float up to 25 miles between facilities as needed
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of MRI experience at a Level 1 trauma center required
- ARRT (MR) and AMRIT certifications required
- License required if applicable
- Philips MR experience required
- Experience with Neuro, Body, and MSK imaging protocols required
- Epic EMR experience preferred
- Driver's license required for consideration
- 2 professional references required
Additional Information
- Team-oriented role focused on quality, patient-centered care
- Candidates should be self-motivated, reliable, flexible, and skilled communicators
- Must run imaging protocols as written
- Scrubs of any color accepted except hospital-issued scrubs
- RTO should be kept to a minimum, with 3-4 days considered reasonable for a 13-week contract at manager's discretion
- Air pods, laptops, and cell phone usage prohibited on the unit
- Local candidates within 90 miles of any MaineHealth facility are eligible but not eligible for renewals or extensions
- Candidates who have worked at any MaineHealth facility within the past 12 months should disclose this during consideration
