Description

American Traveler is hiring a Pediatric OR RN requiring pediatric hospital OR experience and PALS certification for a role with call requirements.

• >Hospital-based Operating Room unit within a pediatric hospital
• Patient population includes pediatric cases, including neonates and infants
• Variable day shift schedule, 5x8 hours, weekdays and weekends
• Call required
• Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

• >Active RN license (GA or Compact) required in hand at time of submission
• Current BLS and PALS (AHA only) certifications required
• CNOR certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required, with 4+ years of recent OR experience preferred
• Pediatric hospital OR experience required
• Recent travel nursing experience preferred
• Epic charting experience required
• BSN preferred but not required
• Trauma Level I or II hospital experience preferred
• Teaching hospital experience preferred

Additional Information

• >Provide perioperative nursing care to pediatric surgical patients, including neonates and infants
• Facility is a nicotine-free campus and conducts cotinine/nicotine testing
• Minimal to no RTO accepted for this assignment
• First-time travelers are accepted if their resume reflects the required skill set
• Compliance hard documents due 7 business days prior to start with no exceptions
• Two professional references from a supervisor level or higher, completed within the last 12 months, are required for consideration
