Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN OR Circulator for a Colorado surgery center, requiring a CO or compact RN license and at least 2 years of OR experience.
Details
- Work in an outpatient surgery center setting
- Serve as OR Circulator supporting surgical procedures
- 3x12 day shift schedule
Requirements
- Active RN license (Colorado or compact) currently in hand
- Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant nursing experience required
- Must obtain Colorado CAPS clearance, which may take up to two weeks to process
Additional Information
- Oversee daily patient flow to optimize care, safety, and satisfaction
- Triage incoming patient requests for services
- Deliver patient education to support care plans and promote wellness
- Delegate care appropriately in accordance with Colorado statute
- Administer medications, perform treatments, and assist in procedures while adhering to patient safety guidelines
- Coordinate patient care with physician practices and other healthcare partners
- Work independently with minimal supervision
- Utilize Relationship-Based Care principles to advocate for patients and families
- Uphold principles of Just Culture and organizational values
- Must maintain HIPAA compliance
