Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a SICU position requiring 18 months of recent surgical ICU experience and an active Ohio or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in the Surgical ICU (SICU) at a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00am-7:30pm
• Required to work at least every other holiday
• ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment completed during orientation, with acceptable scores required

Requirements

• Active RN license (Ohio or Compact) required, permanent license in hand
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• 18 months of combined permanent experience in the specialty required
• 18 months of recent SICU experience required (travel experience accepted)
• Negative 10-panel drug screen plus nicotine (cotinine) test required within 12 months of start for non-nursing staff; nurses are temporarily exempt from nicotine-free requirements

Additional Information

• Provide critical care nursing services to surgical ICU patients
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Assignments may extend up to 18 months, with a required 6-month break before returning to any Cleveland Clinic location
• Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date
• Background check findings of any kind are reviewed by the facility, and open cases will not be accepted
• License hits are not accepted by the facility
