Description

American Traveler is hiring a Radiology/Cardiology X-Ray Technologist with 2+ years of experience operating C-arm and O-arm systems in a Level I Trauma teaching hospital operating room setting.

Details

• Operating Room setting within a Level I Trauma teaching hospital
• Provide C-arm and O-arm coverage in the OR for surgical interventions
• Adult acute care and adult outpatient patient populations
• Mobile/surgical radiology work setting
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM

Requirements

• ARRT (R) certification required
• Current BLS certification required
• State license required if applicable
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
• Level I Trauma and teaching hospital experience required
• Proficiency operating C-arm and O-arm systems required
• Experience with GE equipment preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required
• Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• 2 professional references required, with at least 1 from a Manager/Director or Supervisor and no coworker references accepted

Additional Information

• Collaborate closely with surgical and medical teams to ensure optimal patient care
• Maintain equipment functionality and adhere to safety protocols
• Participate in continuous education and training programs
• First-time travelers are not accepted for this position
• Former employees are eligible for a travel assignment once they have been away from the facility for 6 months or more
• Current employees are ineligible to be hired as a traveler at this facility
• Locals are accepted at the same rate
• RTO must be submitted and built into the contract, limited to 7 days or less
• Candidates must complete Ohio fingerprinting as soon as they sign their contract due to strict compliance timelines
