Description
American Traveler is hiring an RN - Telemetry with 2 years of acute inpatient tele experience and Epic proficiency for a day shift position.
Details
- Work in an acute inpatient telemetry unit within a hospital setting
- Day shift schedule from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
- Every other weekend required
- 36 hours per week over 3 shifts per week at 12 hours per shift
- Uses Epic EMR
Requirements
- Active RN license (IN or Compact) currently in hand
- Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
- Minimum 2 years of acute inpatient telemetry RN experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree (ASN) required
Additional Information
- Assess, develop, implement, and evaluate patient plans of care using a patient and family-centered approach
- Delegate tasks to licensed and non-licensed staff while serving as a mentor and preceptor
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient and family needs
- Participate in quality, safety, and service improvement initiatives
- Provide patient and family education specific to care, treatment, and discharge planning
- Comply with regulatory standards and organizational practice governance model
