Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Stepdown Cardiac PCU position requiring 2+ years of specialty experience and NIH Stroke certification.

Details

• Cardiac Stepdown/PCU unit on the 7th floor
• 13-week travel assignment
• Night shift from 7P-7A
• Every other weekend required
• Call requirements apply
• Floating as needed
• Uses Meditech documentation system

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required (temporary licenses not accepted)
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• Minimum 2 years of hospital experience required
• Minimum 2 years of PCU/Stepdown specialty experience required
• Meditech experience preferred

Additional Information

• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; no local candidates accepted
• Royal blue scrubs required for RNs
• Professional, well-groomed appearance required including neat hair, no artificial nails, and covered tattoos where feasible
• Visible piercings other than ears are not permitted
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
