Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Dept position requiring TNCC, ACLS, and PALS certifications with 1 year of ER experience.
Details
- Level I trauma center emergency department with 38 beds, including trauma bays, a burn room, a psych room, and a vertical treatment area
- Staff includes RNs, advanced paramedics, EMTs, and unit secretaries with a dedicated charge nurse always on duty
- Patient ratios vary based on acuity and volume
- Standard emergency and trauma equipment used
- Uses Meditech EMR
- Facility is a certified chest pain center, comprehensive stroke center, and accredited burn center
- Day shift schedule from 7A-7P
- Self-scheduling model in place
- Required to work 4 weekend shifts per month
- No floating required, though cross-training to a sister facility may be requested
