Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring charge experience and an active TX or compact RN license.

Details

• Labor & Delivery unit with 12 beds
• Patient ratio of 2:1
• Circulates C-sections
• Unit staffed with one tech per shift and one unit secretary on day shift
• Documentation via Meditech
• Floating required as needed
• 13-week assignment on a 7P-7A schedule
• 4 weekend shifts required per month
• No call requirements

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required (temporary license not accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of L&D experience required
• Charge experience required and must be willing to work charge
• Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN (Fetal Monitoring) certifications required
• RNC certification preferred
• Meditech experience preferred
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
• One professional reference required

Additional Information

• Facility provides scrubs
• Nails must be clean and healthy
• Hair should be neat and clean with no extreme styles or colors; facial hair must be clean and neatly trimmed
• Body art should be covered whenever possible
• Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited
• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted
