Description
American Traveler is hiring a Travel RN for a Freestanding Emergency Department position requiring 2-3 years of ER experience and TNCC certification.
Details
- Work in a 12-bed Freestanding Emergency Department (FSED)
- Fully equipped ER with x-ray, nurse-driven lab, and CT scanner on site
- Patient ratios of 1:4-5
- Uses Meditech EMR
- Night shift schedule, 7P-7A, three days per week
- Rotate every other weekend
- No on-call requirements
- No floating required
Requirements
- Active RN license (TX or Compact) currently in hand
- 2-3 years of ER experience as an RN required
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
- TNCC certification preferred
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility (no local candidates)
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Provide direct patient care and lab services within the ER
- Team includes a Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) and RN staff across shifts
- Best suited for energetic, self-motivated candidates
- Must wear Medical City Royal Blue scrubs
- Follow facility Code of Conduct and unit guidelines
