Description
American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 13-week day shift contract requiring at least 1 year of experience and current BLS/ACLS certification.
Details
- Work in the Respiratory Care unit of a hospital setting
- 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
- Rotating weekend shifts required
- No on-call requirements
- Typical procedures include nebulizer treatments, oxygen therapy, and ventilator management
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a Respiratory Therapist
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Active RRT license required, if applicable
- NRP certification required for staff caring for neonates
- PALS certification required if noted for pediatric positions
- ICU, NICU, or PICU experience preferred
- No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
- One professional reference required (two references required for Florida and Missouri)
Additional Information
- Provide respiratory care services including nebulizer treatments, oxygen therapy, and ventilator management
- Dress code requires olive green scrub tops and black scrub bottoms
- Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates will not be considered
