Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a MedSurg/Tele position requiring ACLS certification and prior Med Surg Tele experience.
Details
- Work on a 36-bed Med Surg/Tele unit within a hospital setting
- 6:1 patient ratio
- Unit utilizes EKG machines, DynaMaps, bladder scanners, vein finders, and telemetry equipment
- Heart catheterization procedures performed on the unit
- Meditech EMR used
- Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
- Every other weekend or two full weekends per month required
- Floating required to all Med Surg Tele floors
Requirements
- Active RN license (LA or compact) currently in hand
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year of recent Med Surg Tele nursing experience required
- Meditech EMR experience required
- US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Provide direct nursing care to Med Surg/Tele patients including cardiac monitoring
- Work alongside a care team of RNs, LPNs, techs, and a charge nurse
- Ceil blue scrub color required
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; no local candidates accepted
