Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cath Lab position requiring a CA RN license and call shift availability.
Details
- Work in the Cath Lab unit of a hospital environment
- Day shift schedule (5x8 hours), Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM or 7:30 AM-4:00 PM
- Requires working three call shifts within a two-week period
- Uses Epic EMR
- Travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities near the contracted facility
Requirements
- Active CA RN license (Compact license must be in hand at time of submission)
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum of 1 year of Cath Lab experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Two supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting
Additional Information
- Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
- Candidates must reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for the local pay rate
- Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
- Candidates should not contact facility staff directly except for scheduled interviews arranged through their recruiter
- All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted upfront during the application process, as post-offer requests may not be granted
