Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a 13-week acute care hospital assignment requiring 2+ years of experience and a TN or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in the Medical Surgical Combination unit of a 198-bed acute and skilled care hospital
• 44-bed unit with a 1:6 patient ratio
• Serves patients of all ages
• Uses Meditech EHR, experience required
• Shift runs 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Every other weekend required, totaling 24 weekend hours
• Floating required as needed
• On-call as needed, with a required arrival time of 30 minutes to 1 hour if called in

Requirements

• Active RN license (TN or Compact) required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience required
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
• AHA certifications required

Additional Information

• Level II trauma center
• Provide Med/Surg nursing care to a diverse patient population
• Professional demeanor expected
• Scrubs of any color permitted, no casual wear or hoodies allowed
• Must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to qualify for travel rate
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full time while on assignment
• Weekly orientation held on Mondays
