Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with 1+ years of experience and ARRT(R) certification (or strong CVT with RCIS considered) for a 13-week travel assignment.
Details
- Cardiac Cath Lab unit in a hospital setting
- Performs cardiac catheterization, EP, and vascular procedures including PCI, PTCA, left and right heart catheterization, temporary pacemaker placement, AICD insertion/programming, cardioversion, and pacemaker insertion
- 4x10 hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- Call requirements include one night per week and one weekend every fourth week
- Must be willing to float as requested
Requirements
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Cath Lab/Angio Tech, or strong CVT experience with RCIS certification considered
- Active ARRT(R) certification preferred, or RCIS certification for CVT candidates
- Current BLS and ACLS certification required
- LRT-R Washington license required if applicable
- Community hospital experience preferred
- Active Oregon state license or proof of license application and fingerprinting required for consideration
- One professional reference from a Charge Nurse, Supervisor, or Manager required, preferably within the last year
- No felony convictions accepted
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include accurate hemodynamic monitoring and maintaining a sterile field while scrubbing in
- Skills in vascular studies, coil embolization, venous access, and use of Rotablader for peripheral procedures are valued
- Maximum of 7 days RTO permitted, with no RTO allowed during the first 2 weeks of the assignment
- Former staff must be separated from the facility/system for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
- Local candidates are not accepted
- Candidates must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
- Travel experience is not required, so first-time travelers will be considered
