Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring an active NH or compact license and prior med-surg experience.

Details

• Med/Surg Telemetry unit within a hospital setting
• 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week
• 36-hour weekly guarantee
• Holiday coverage required
• May be required to float to nearby Concord Hospital-Laconia or Concord Hospital-Franklin locations
• No on-call requirements

Requirements

• Active NH or Compact RN license required in hand at time of consideration (temporary license not accepted)
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NIHSS certification required prior to start
• Minimum 1-2 years of Med/Surg experience required
• Critical Care RN experience considered if fluent with Med/Surg ratios and acuity
• Cerner EMR experience preferred but not required
• Must complete a Dysrhythmia Exam during onboarding with a preferred score of 80%

• Provide nursing care to Med/Surg Telemetry patients
• Weekly orientation schedule
• Former permanent staff eligible to return as travelers after a 12-month break in service
• Local candidates accepted with a 50-mile radius rule determining travel rate eligibility
• Three professional references required once committed, including two from leadership
