Description
American Traveler is hiring a Psychiatric RN for a 3rd shift pediatric/adolescent psych position requiring phlebotomy experience and prior pediatric psych experience.
Details
- Work in a pediatric/adolescent psychiatric and residential treatment facility
- 3rd shift schedule only
- Care for a pediatric and adolescent patient population
- Perform blood draws on pediatric/adolescent patients as needed
- Administer medication and medical treatments as part of a multi-disciplinary treatment team
Requirements
- Active NH or Compact RN license required
- Current BLS certification required
- CPI certification required
- Previous pediatric psychiatric nursing experience required
- Phlebotomy experience required and must be willing to perform blood draws on pediatric/adolescent patients
Additional Information
- Perform general and specialized nursing duties under the direction of the Nurse Manager
- Utilize the nursing process for comprehensive treatment planning with a multi-disciplinary treatment team
- Uphold the facility's mission and vision through its established Practice Model theories, beliefs, and principles
- Must reside outside a 75-mile radius of the facility to be considered for this position
