Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Cardiac Telemetry position requiring Charge RN experience, telemetry expertise, and Epic proficiency.

Details

• hospital-based Cardiac Telemetry unit serving as a pre/post area for Cath Lab, EP Lab, PV Lab, and Interventional Radiology patients
• patient population includes arterial and venous access patients, radial and ulnar access patients, and Same Day PCI patients
• not all patients require telemetry monitoring
• patient ratio of 1:4
• Day shift schedule, 3x12 hours, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 8:30 PM
• no weekends or holidays required
• Epic EMR used
• floating to any Cone Health campus may be required

Requirements

• active NC or compact RN license required in hand at time of submission
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• prior Charge RN experience required
• telemetry nursing experience required
• understanding of arterial and venous access patient care, including radial and ulnar access and hemostasis management
• dysrhythmia interpretation and EKG skills required
• Epic charting system experience required
• must pass a compliance EKG exam with a maximum of two attempts
• current driver's license required for address verification

Additional Information

• provide cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, and emergency response for pre/post procedural patients
• monitor arterial and venous access sites for hemostasis
