Description
American Traveler is hiring a Pediatric Sonographer with at least 1 year of pediatric sonography experience and ECMO procedure knowledge for a 26-week assignment.
Details
- ering with 4 scanners
- Covers NICU, PICU, and Cardiac ICU units
- Performs echocardiographic studies across fetal congenital (22+ weeks), pediatric heart disease, and adult congenital echocardiography
- Uses Epic EMR and PACS Fuji CV Synapse
- Philips ultrasound equipment
- 8-hour day shifts from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- 40 hours per week over a 26-week assignment
Requirements
- >ography experience
- BLS and ARDMS certification required
- License required if applicable
- Registry in Pediatric Echocardiography preferred
- Experience with fetal echo encouraged
- Adult echo experience a plus
- Must be knowledgeable and experienced with ECMO procedures, including assisting with bedside ECMO weans and catheter placement
- Extensive understanding of congenital and unusual forms of non-congenital heart disease required
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include recognizing and triaging emergent situations
- Provides written communication to cardiologists regarding findings
- Responsible for maintenance of equipment
- Handles logging and billing of procedures
- 1-2 week floor orientation provided
- Caribbean Blue scrubs required
