Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Med/Surg RN for a Stroke Unit night shift position requiring NIHSS certification and active FL or compact RN licensure.

Details

• Med/Surg unit specializing in stroke care (2S Stroke Unit)
• Night shift schedule from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM
• 13-week contract assignment

Requirements

• Active FL state or multistate compact RN license required
• BLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg RN experience required
• Stroke care experience required
• AHCA clearance required for all FL travelers
• No certifications may expire within the first 30 days of assignment start
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care on a dedicated stroke Med/Surg unit
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible
• Travelers who worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years will not be considered
• RTO requests must be less than 1 week
