Description
American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift RN for a Neuro-Progressive Care unit, requiring active NY RN licensure and prior Neuro-Progressive/Stepdown or ICU experience.
Details
- Neuro-Progressive Care unit within a hospital setting
- 12-hour night shift schedule (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
- Every other weekend required
- Rotating holiday coverage required
- 5-bed Med-Surg rotation required for all staff
- Epic EMR experience required
Requirements
- Active NY RN license required
- BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA or RQI required
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Neuro-Progressive/Stepdown or ICU setting
- Epic EMR experience required
- Must complete a Neuro-Progressive competency exam and skills checklist upon offer
- No gaps in work history exceeding 90 days within the past 12 months
- US Social Security Number required
- Minimum one reference from a supervisor or manager (no charge nurses) dated within the past year
Additional Information
- Navy blue scrubs required
- Flu vaccine required; only medical exemptions signed by a licensed professional are accepted
- No blocked scheduling permitted
- More than 3 call-offs within the 13-week assignment may result in contract termination, with make-up shifts required within 6 weeks
- RTO must be requested at time of submission
- Local candidates residing within a 50-mile radius in Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, or Washington counties are not eligible
