Description
American Traveler is hiring a Travel RN for a Neuro-Progressive Care day shift position requiring 2 years of recent Neuro-Progressive/Stepdown or ICU experience and Epic EMR experience.
Details
- Work in the Neuro Progressive Care unit of a hospital setting
- 13-week travel assignment on day shift
- Shift hours are 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
- Every other weekend required
- Rotating holiday coverage required
- Required to complete a 5-bed Med-Surg rotation
- Uses Epic EMR
Requirements
- Active NY RN license required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA or RQI required
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Neuro-Progressive/Stepdown or ICU required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Must complete a Neuro-Progressive competency exam and skills checklist upon offer
- No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- Medical exemption (signed by a licensed professional) required for flu vaccine exemption; personal or religious declinations not accepted
Additional Information
- Navy blue scrubs are required
- Local candidates residing within a 50-mile radius in Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, or Washington counties are not eligible
- More than 3 call-outs within the 13-week assignment may result in contract termination, with make-up shifts required within 6 weeks of the last call-out
- No blocked scheduling permitted
