Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a Night shift position requiring a CO or Compact RN license and at least 1 year of ICU experience.

Details

• Work in the Intensive Care/Coronary Care Unit of a hospital environment
• 3x12hr Night shifts (1900-0730)
• Weekend shifts required
• No on-call requirements
• May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications
• Uses Epic EMR for charting

Requirements

• Active RN license (CO State or Compact) required
• Current certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NIHSS
• Certifications must be AHA-issued and not expire prior to start date
• Minimum 1 year of ICU experience required
• ASN required, BSN preferred
• Epic EMR charting experience required
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical duties per state Board of Nursing standards
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for ICU/coronary care patients
• Provide health teaching, counseling, and supportive/restorative therapy to patients
• Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Promote the mission, vision, and values of the health system
• Returning staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before becoming eligible for a travel assignment
