Description
American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist with 2+ years of recent specialty experience and ARRT-Mammography certification for a 13-week assignment.
Details
- Work in a breast care center imaging department performing outpatient mammography studies
- Schedule is 5x8 hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM
- 13-week contract assignment
- No on-call requirements
- Position involves autonomy and indirect supervision
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in mammography
- Current AHA BLS certification required
- ARRT-Mammography certification required
- License required if applicable
- Competency in stereotactic biopsy and/or mammography-related QC required
- Ability to perform all types of mammography studies including needle localization and ductograms
Additional Information
- Must work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
- Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered
- Returning perm staff must have a 2-year break before returning as a non-local traveler
- First-time travelers may be considered
