Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a night shift assignment requiring recent specialty experience and current BLS/ACLS certification.
Details
- Work in the Intensive Care Unit of a hospital setting
- General medical surgical ICU patient population
- 12-hour night shifts, varying from 7pm-7:30am
- 3 shifts per week with 36 guaranteed hours weekly
- 13-week contract assignment
- No on-call responsibilities
- Uses Cerner EMR system
Requirements
- Active RN license (GA or Compact) currently in hand
- Minimum of 2 years of recent ICU specialty experience required
- Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
- CCRN and NIHSS certifications preferred
- Cerner EMR experience preferred
Additional Information
- Provide critical care nursing to ICU patients in a general medical surgical unit
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for this position
- Returning perm staff must have a 2-year break before returning as a traveler
- Holiday coverage required: must work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
- RTO must be requested upfront prior to offer acceptance and cannot be requested afterward
