Description
American Traveler is hiring an ICU RN for a 13-week travel assignment requiring recent ICU experience and BLS/ACLS certification.
Details
- Work in the Intensive Care Unit of a hospital setting
- General medical-surgical ICU patient population
- 12-hour day shifts, schedule varies 7AM-7:30PM
- 3 shifts per week for a 13-week assignment
- Uses Cerner EMR
- No on-call responsibilities
Requirements
- Active RN license (GA or Compact) currently in hand
- Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) through AHA
- CCRN and NIHSS certifications preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in the ICU specialty required
Additional Information
- Provide critical care nursing services to ICU patients
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be considered
- Returning perm staff must have a 2 year break before returning as a traveler
- Holiday coverage required: must work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
- Requested time off (RTO) must be submitted upfront and cannot be requested after an offer is made
