Description

American Traveler is hiring a MICU RN for a night shift Level 1 trauma center ICU position requiring at least 1 year of critical care experience.

Details

• Work in the Critical Care Unit (Medical ICU) of a Level 1 trauma center
• Unit is also a Stroke Center of Excellence, Burn Center, ELSO certified center, and Transplant center
• Standard patient ratio of 2:1
• Night shift schedule from 19:00-07:30
• Every other weekend rotation required
• Holiday coverage required per unit need
• Uses Sunrise charting system
• 13-week assignment length with longer contracts (13-16 weeks) approved for September starts

Requirements

• Active RN license (IN state or compact) required
• Current BLS certification (AHA) required
• Current ACLS certification (AHA) required
• Minimum 1 year of ICU/critical care experience required
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Must provide a US Social Security Number and US home address

Additional Information

• Royal blue scrubs required per unit dress code
• Radius rule applies, allowing local candidates at a reduced pay rate
• Travelers should discuss extension opportunities with management approximately 45 days prior to assignment end date
