Description
American Traveler is hiring a MICU RN for a night shift Level 1 trauma center ICU position requiring at least 1 year of critical care experience.
Details
- Work in the Critical Care Unit (Medical ICU) of a Level 1 trauma center
- Unit is also a Stroke Center of Excellence, Burn Center, ELSO certified center, and Transplant center
- Standard patient ratio of 2:1
- Night shift schedule from 19:00-07:30
- Every other weekend rotation required
- Holiday coverage required per unit need
- Uses Sunrise charting system
- 13-week assignment length with longer contracts (13-16 weeks) approved for September starts
Requirements
- Active RN license (IN state or compact) required
- Current BLS certification (AHA) required
- Current ACLS certification (AHA) required
- Minimum 1 year of ICU/critical care experience required
- Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
- Must provide a US Social Security Number and US home address
Additional Information
- Royal blue scrubs required per unit dress code
- Radius rule applies, allowing local candidates at a reduced pay rate
- Travelers should discuss extension opportunities with management approximately 45 days prior to assignment end date
