Description

American Traveler is hiring a Vascular Ultrasound Technologist with 2+ years of experience and prior travel assignment experience required.

Details

• Outpatient vascular ultrasound setting within a heart and vascular center
• 5x8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 8:45 AM to 5:15 PM
• No call or float requirements outside the assigned unit
• Performs Doppler studies, renal artery duplex, upper/lower extremity venous and arterial studies
• Performs arterial duplex, ABI, extracranial, and visceral studies (renal, aorta, iliac)
• Performs abdominal, renal/pelvis, and vascular carotid/arterial imaging
• Uses Philips and Siemens ultrasound equipment and PACS
• Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Prior travel assignment experience required
• RVT certification required; CCI RVS certification preferred
• BLS certification required
• License required if applicable
• Epic EMR experience required
• Outpatient vascular ultrasound experience required
• IV start experience strongly preferred
• Experience with arterial graft studies, arterial mapping, carotid, color flow, dialysis grafts, and stents preferred
• Must be comfortable using isolation precautions and PPE

Additional Information

• May be required to float to other campuses within the health system as needed
• Must pass a compliance EKG exam with up to two attempts allowed
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for the travel rate
• RTO must be submitted with the initial application; post-submission RTO requests are not accepted
