Description

American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist with 2+ years of adult inpatient and outpatient experience for an acute rehabilitation unit offering day shift hours.

Details

Acute care hospital setting providing both inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation coverage
Adult patient population in Acute Rehab and Outpatient Rehab settings
Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
EMR systems used include Net Health Therapy and Meditech
May be required to work Hawaii State and Federal holidays based on hospital operations

Requirements

Active Hawaii OT license required by start of assignment; license required if applicable
Minimum 2 years of experience working with adults in outpatient and acute settings
Current BLS certification from the American Red Cross

Additional Information

Evaluate and re-evaluate assigned patients in outpatient and inpatient settings
Plan and implement ongoing therapeutic programs as prescribed by the ordering physician
Regularly update treatment plans and home exercise programs
Independently manage a full caseload and determine timing for re-evaluations based on insurance authorization requirements
