Description

American Traveler is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist with 1+ year of experience and strong orthopedic skills for a 13-week assignment.

Details

• Outpatient Physical Therapy setting within an Adult Trauma III facility
• Day shift schedule, either 4x10s or 5x8s (7:30 AM - 4:00 PM for 5x8 schedule)
• Daily caseload of 10-12 patients
• Adult patient population including orthopedic conditions (TKA, THA, joint pain, back pain) and neurological conditions (post-CVA, Parkinson's)
• No weekend shifts required
• No on-call requirements
• No floating required outside of scope
• EPIC charting system preferred

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience required
• Inpatient therapy experience helpful but not required
• Current BLS certification required
• Manual Therapy certification required
• Dry Needling certification preferred
• Strong orthopedic skills required
• Some inpatient experience preferred
• WI license required; can be pending upon submission
• License required if applicable
• Must be able to shave for proper mask seal for fit testing (no medical or religious exemptions accepted)
• Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include patient assessment, evaluation, treatment planning, and discharge documentation
• Facility does not provide CAPRs or PAPRs, and travelers are not permitted to use personal CAPRs or PAPRs
• OSHA Respirator Clearance required prior to start
• No scrub color requirement
• First-time travelers accepted
• Local candidates not accepted within 70-mile radius of facility
• One RTO request permitted per contract
• Clinicians cannot work past 1 year as a traveler at this facility; a 6-month break is required before returning
