Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a night shift travel position requiring 2+ years of experience and a compact or OK RN license.

Details

• Hospital-based Med/Surg unit assignment
• 13-week travel contract
• Night shift schedule from 7p-7a
• Floating required
• Patient ratio of 6:1
• Unit has 34 beds
• No on-call requirements
• Uses Cerner EMR

Requirements

• Active RN license (Oklahoma or Compact) required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• PALS certification required within 6 months of start date
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg experience required
• Cerner EMR experience preferred
• No certifications expiring within first 30 days of start
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Black scrubs required
• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit
• Maximum RTO of 4 days/nights per 13-week contract, with individual requests limited to less than 1 week
• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
• Not eligible if previously worked as permanent staff at any Community Health Systems facility within the past 2 years
