Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum (LDRP) position requiring active MA RN licensure and prior postpartum experience.
Details
- Work in the LDRP unit of a community hospital serving an island population
- Care for patients across labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum stages
- 36 hours per week on a rotating shift schedule
- 13-week assignment length
- Uses Epic for charting
Requirements
- Active MA RN license required (no conditional or pending licenses accepted)
- Current BLS and NRP certifications required (AHA preferred)
- Minimum 1 year of relevant nursing experience required
- Prior postpartum nursing experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Primary source license/certification verification required within 30 days of start
Additional Information
- Provide comprehensive nursing care across the labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum continuum
- Shared housing provided at no cost
- Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
- Local candidates must reside more than 60 miles from Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston to qualify for standard travel rate
- Uses UKG/Kronos for timekeeping
