Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced Cardiac Cath Lab RN for a Level I Trauma facility, requiring a TX or compact RN license and at least 2 years of cath lab experience.
Details
- Acute care setting within a 719-bed Level I Trauma hospital featuring 11 cath labs
- Cardiac Cath Lab unit handling 40-50 cases per day
- Preferred case experience includes interventional, structural, and EP procedures
- Uses Epic EMR
- Flexible 10-hour day shifts scheduled 4 days a week between 8:00a-8:30p
- Call requirement of 4-5 shifts per month including 1 weekend per month
- 10-week assignment with 40 guaranteed hours per week
Requirements
- Active TX or compact RN license required
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Minimum 3 years of RN experience required
- At least 2 years of cardiac cath lab experience required
- Experience circulating, monitoring in Mac Lab, and scrubbing preferred
- BSN not required for this position
- Two professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, including employment dates and rehire eligibility
- Copy of driver's license required for consideration
Additional Information
- Work in a high-volume, fast-paced cardiac cath lab environment ideal for RNs seeking high demand and advanced clinical experience
- Candidates who were directly employed by any CommonSpirit-affiliated facility, including CHI and/or Dignity, within the past year are not eligible
- Candidates previously employed PRN through outside staffing firms will be considered
