Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Cardiac Cath Lab RN for a Level I Trauma facility, requiring a TX or compact RN license and at least 2 years of cath lab experience.

Details

• Acute care setting within a 719-bed Level I Trauma hospital featuring 11 cath labs
• Cardiac Cath Lab unit handling 40-50 cases per day
• Preferred case experience includes interventional, structural, and EP procedures
• Uses Epic EMR
• Flexible 10-hour day shifts scheduled 4 days a week between 8:00a-8:30p
• Call requirement of 4-5 shifts per month including 1 weekend per month
• 10-week assignment with 40 guaranteed hours per week

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 3 years of RN experience required
• At least 2 years of cardiac cath lab experience required
• Experience circulating, monitoring in Mac Lab, and scrubbing preferred
• BSN not required for this position
• Two professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, including employment dates and rehire eligibility
• Copy of driver's license required for consideration

• Candidates who were directly employed by any CommonSpirit-affiliated facility, including CHI and/or Dignity, within the past year are not eligible
• Candidates previously employed PRN through outside staffing firms will be considered
